Michael J. Riley, co-founder of Westcott Properties, Inc. and President of the Acquisitions and Investment Division of the firm, has twenty one years in the industry. Michael has managed many different types of real estate transactions; he is famous in the industry not only for successfully navigating residential purchases and sales throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Florida but for effectively handling the sale of commercial real estate as well as coordinating the intricate details of the industrial property sale.
Michael owns several profitable commercial properties making him sensitive to market fluctuations harnessing changing trends to benefit clients and customers. Michael pays close attention to every detail and possesses strong negotiation skills. He creatively and capably guides his clients and customers through the sales process. Michaels accomplishments are not limited to real estate. Having owned his own amateur team, the Newport Jazz, it is evident he has a true passion for baseball. His involvement ranges from sponsoring talented high school athletes through the Junior Olympics and international tournaments to assisting major league players as they transition back into the mainstream. Hector Ramirez, formerly of the Milwaukee Brewers, Marco Sanchez, formerly of the San Diego Padres and Lisandro Royer of the New York Mets are a few of the players Michael has assisted.
Most recently, Michael provided real estate services to two (2) Red Sox players, Ramon Vasquez and Edgar Renteria. He helped Ramon relocated in Ft. Myers, Florida and secure housing in Boston. Michael has helped Edgar Renteria find housing in Boston. Michael looks forward to remaining active in both baseball and real estate, his two greatest passions.
